I have received an e-mail during about 2 weeks ago from Ericsson IPX in the UK for mobile billing. That would actually have not been a problem, it’s a standard proposal, if it wouldn’t have been a follow-up.

The subject of the e-mail was: Mliven picks Tanla Mobile to deploy billing in UK

Following on from my email below, you are using Tanla Mobile to provide your mobile billing platform in the UK. Your deal with Tanla will allow you to deploy PayForIt. Ericsson IPX helped the UK operators rollout Payforit. Please can you pass this email to the person responsible for choosing aggregators in the UK (technical service provider)? I’d very much like to put Ericsson IPX on their radar.

By “putting on the radar”, it is of course actually meant to replace Tanla Mobile, which is the company we currently use for billing, and we have no reason at all to replace it. The Ericsson IPX manager is actually pointing out in just a few single lines, that they are much better then Tanla, and that they were the ones to help UK operators deploy PayForIt…

I am very happy with Tanla Mobile’s work, no reason to replace them at all, so this is just something I wanted people to look at and see, if it’s the best practice you can get from a company - and especially a company like Ericsson.
