I don’t write about other things I do on the HungryMobile blog that much, and don’t worry I won’t do it a lot, but I wanted to share with you what i have been working on for the past half year - as I am proud of what the team has done over here in Prague. Some of you might already have noticed my excitement via Twitter - for those of you who haven’t, here is LOKOLA.

LOKOLA is a both web and mobile local search service in Czech Republic - but is an open platform supporting adding in other countries as well, that includes both a great technology background, and data. It’s an open platform, where anybody can come in and add data on the map - and everybody can also change it, with some rules, obviously.

Lokola has been launched in the biggest number of mobile technologies I launched so far in one service - available for mobile web, Java platform, Symbian, and the new Google Android OS, Lokola has one of the largest mobile technologies backgrounds. 

So together with my HungryMobile postings, market researches and analysis - my position at Lokola as MD is to build this beautiful project, and I hope we can outperform the local competitors, and maybe head to the global market once.
